Dowling to Host new Radio Show

“I hope to provide local listeners with conversations with statewide newsmakers.”

Uniontown, PA – A new show is scheduled to premier this week on WMBS 590AM and 101.1FM and online anywhere you download your favorite podcast. Commonalities, the show where guests find common ground through uncommon conversations, will air Episode 1 on Tuesday, November 15th at 11:15AM.

The show which bills itself as discussing “Politics, Religion, and Finances – all the topics your grandmother told you not to discuss with friends” will be hosted by retired State Representative Matthew Dowling.

“I am ecstatic about the new podcast. Commonalities provides a venue where we can discuss both sides of the big issues” Dowling said. “Using my network of political figures and community leaders from across the commonwealth I hope to provide local listeners with conversations with statewide newsmakers.”

Dowling’s first Episode will feature Jeff Coleman, a retired legislator, political consultant, and recent Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor along side Charles Pascal a progressive attorney and member of the Democrat State Committee. The trio will discuss what the ideal political system should look like, what is wrong with our current system, and how we fix what is broken.

The second Episode, debuting on Thursday, November 17th following the 11AM local, district, and statewide news, will feature Lois Kaneshiki, a staunch advocate of school choice, home schooling, parental rights, and classical education. Anyone who disagrees with Kaneshiki’s ideas or practices is welcome to volunteer to be a guest on the show to discuss the other side of the educational debate.

“Right now, we are searching out guests for the show, preferably when we can have the ying and yang opinions on a specific issue on the same Episode” Dowling said. “A simple email to info@Coordinated360.com or to info@Commonalities.online is all we need to consider having an individual on the program. We want to know what you want to hear.”

Sponsorship is critical to help keep the new program on the air. Commonalities is also looking for businesses or organizations who wish the sponsor the program. Those with issues can email Dowling or call 724-320-2212.

Commonalities can be found every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:15AM on WMBS radio, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, PodBay.fm, and others. A video stream of the program can be found on the WMBS and Matthew Dowling Facebook and Youtube channels.
