Rebecca and I are happy to announce that we are hosting a Pierogi party to celebrate my ethnic heritage and as a way of embracing the Lenten fast that is upon us. I will get all the ingredients and we will get together and make at least 67 dozen Pierogi which will be fed to the seniors at the Fayette County Community Action senior centers.

There is no cost to participate in making pierogi, however we will be selling pierogi that you can take home with you for $8.00 per dozen. The price of the pierogi sold will go toward covering any associated costs.
Preregistration is VERY IMPORTANT and required. You can register at http://polish.matthewddowling.com. (Please use the PayPal form on that page and click BUY NOW, the quantity you wish to purchase will be asked in the next step. All purchases MUST be made online prior to the event.
The goal is not to make any money and you, as a participant, are asked to donate your labor (Please bring a rolling pin). We will even have some polkas playing in the background to add to the atmosphere. No talent or advanced training would be needed.
The event will be held on Saturday, March 25 from 11:00AM – 6:00PM at the Uniontown Senior Center. We will be providing bottled water; you are welcome to bring other drinks and a small cooler if you want soda or other drinks. And of course, we will be cooking up some of the yield with butter to try on the spot. All participants should try to stay the entire duration and to help with clean up, if your schedule allows.
